Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
Your BAH will be used in one of two ways. You can either rent on base or you can live off base. If you live off base, you can either rent or buy. Click Here for current BAH rates.
On Base Housing ( Rent On-Base )
You can contact the housing office at 910-450-1627. Please keep in mind that there is a process involved in renting on Base housing to include wait times.

Marine Corps Air Station New River is home to the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training and the 362nd Training Squadron, Detachment 1, Operation Location “A” (USAF). Marine Corps Air Station New River is a helicopter base whose primary mission is to offer support for the Fleet Marine Force units. Marine Corps Air Station New River is located near Jacksonville, North Carolina and shares some facilities with Marine Corps Base Camp LeJeune. Marine Corps Air Station New River is also home to McCutcheon Field which was first established in 1972. Family housing at Marine Corps Air Station New River is coordinated in conjunction with Camp LeJeune which offers over 4,000 housing units with central air conditioning and heating. Marine Corps Air Station New River requires that all military personnel be checked in on the base prior to being eligible for housing. Housing is provided on a voluntary basis, and wait times vary based on rank, the time of year, and the size of the family seeking housing. Military personnel can apply for government housing at the Family Housing Office and fill out an application (DD Form 1746). Once the application is completed, candidates will be placed on the inactive waiting list until formal check in has been completed. Bachelor Enlisted Quarters are located on Camp LeJeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River for soldiers with a rank of E-4 and up.
Temporary housing is provided by the LeJeune Inn located on Holcomb Blvd and Camp LeJeune. For reservations, contact the Inn directly at 910-451-3041. All rooms have a kitchenette and cable TV. Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance, and most room rates are discounted. Bachelor Housing is handled in Building 705 at Marine Corps Air Station New River or by calling 910-449-6621. Many temporary lodging facilities do not allow pets, so please call in advance to check on availability in case kennel arrangements need to be made for the animals.
